Experience:
25 years consulting experience as Consulting Director, Managing Partner & Consultant within the Logistics Consulting Industry with Deloitte Ross Tomatsu, Dawson Consulting, Logistics Bureau, LSC Solutions, InteLog and Logiworx Partners.
17 years operational experience in Logistics Retail Buying and Inventory Management as Director, General Manager and Category Manager.
Assisted BHP and BMA to design and implement new warehouse facilities in W.A and Queensland
Led the consulting team which designed the API Camellia Distribution Centre and assisted with the procurement of an A Frame, Pick to Voice and Integrated Conveyors. Prior to the move there were 242 FTE and 132 at the new site. Won Comino Trophy 2003.es.
Assisted Siemens German Appliance Business to redesign and then deploy a suite new supply chain and parts inventory processes across the Asian geographies of Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China, Korea, India, Singapore and Japan.
Assisted Miele to design and deploy a new warehouse network including facilities in Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, Adelaide and Perth. Designed the slotting, layout and processes.
Other recent warehouse slotting and designs clients include:
- Brita Water Filter as part of the move to a new location, processes supported by SOP documentation.
- Gloria Jeans Coffees processes for the warehouse as well as demand and supply planning and the finance function.
- La Prairie as part of the move to a new location, processes supported by process documentation
- Assisted Dominion Construction in identifying approximately NZD $20M in potential savings through data analysis and supplier negotiation
